Book my lesson

One type of lesson. Three rhythms. One fair price.

No "Premium pack of 12 lessons", no subscription trap, no hidden fees. 50 minutes, one-on-one, 100% oral. The price goes down when you speak more often, because regularity is what gets you speaking.

Discovery

A first time, no commitment

$80 / 50 min

This isn't a demo. It's a real lesson. You come with your level, your blocks, your goals. I assess you, propose a path, and you start speaking from the first minute.

You leave with:

  • A clear assessment of your real level
  • A concrete 10-lesson goal
  • 20 sentences you couldn't build an hour before
  • Audio kit + Notion recap, included

Intensive

2–3 lessons per week

$60 / 50 min

For those with a goal, a deadline, a reason to go all in. A move to France in 3 months. A French-language interview in 6 weeks. A holiday approaching. At this rhythm, we double acquisition speed. What takes 4 months in Regular happens in 6 to 8 weeks.

  • Accelerated progression
  • Priority follow-up between lessons
  • Custom program based on your goal
  • Audio kit + Notion after every class

Because an hour with me
is 15 years of language learning.

It's not the price of an app. It's not the price of a tutor following a textbook. It's the price of support where every minute counts, every mistake becomes a lever, and you leave with concrete tools no one can take from you.

The time you invest is worth far more than these 80 dollars. My promise is to respect it.

Business French

For when "almost good" isn't good enough.

You have a meeting in French in three weeks. An interview in a month. A francophone client to convince. I build a custom program: your sector's vocabulary, meeting phrasing, self-presentation, objection handling. We work on your real scenarios, not textbook examples.

French for kids

So the language of dad/mum stays alive.

Your kids understand French when you speak it at home, but they always reply in English (or the local language). You dream of them speaking French with you, with grandparents, on holidays. I work with your child playfully, without school pressure. The goal: awaken their active language, not give them more homework.

No, never. You book lesson by lesson. Want a 2-week break? No problem. Want to speed up? No problem. It's your learning, it's your calendar. I adapt, not the other way around.

The Intensive rate at $60 (for 2-3 lessons per week) is already a form of package. For special cases (long-term, couples, corporate), contact me directly for a quote.

Everything you need to know about online French lesson pricing

How much does a private online French lesson cost?

Private online French lesson prices range from $10 to $100 per hour depending on the teacher's experience and specialization. Marketplaces like Preply and italki display rates starting at $10-15, often from student or non-native teachers. Independent experienced native teachers with their own methodology charge between $50 and $100 per hour. These premium rates typically include complementary resources, personalized follow-up, and genuine pedagogical continuity.

Why 50 minutes instead of 60?

The 50-minute format is an international pedagogical standard. It corresponds to the moment where cognitive attention reaches its productivity peak before declining. Beyond that, per-minute efficiency drops sharply. The "missing" 10 minutes are a buffer allowing the teacher to prep the next session, and giving students breathing room.

Is it better to buy a package or pay per lesson?

Per-lesson payment offers maximum flexibility and lets you adjust frequency to your schedule and budget. Packages (10 or 20 lessons) generally offer a small discount but may create time pressure. For most students, per-lesson payment with regular rhythm is the most comfortable and motivating option.

How many lessons for conversational level?

To go from A0/A1 (beginner) to B1 (conversational), count on average 50 to 80 lessons of 50 minutes with a good teacher and active oral practice. At one per week, that's roughly 12 to 18 months. In intensive pace (2-3 per week), you can reach this level in 5 to 8 months.
